As the HR builder of our workforce, the Specialist, Talent Acquisition plays a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and acquiring top talents for Armstrong Group.
Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end of the recruitment process for Malaysia & Thailand, understanding the hiring issues and imperatives, identifying and implementing recruitment solutions, develop sourcing strategies through collaborating with hiring managers and internal HR teams, and ensuring the Company has a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing end-to-end recruitment cycle
- Provide best-in-class candidate experience for every candidate from application stage to offer; evaluate skill level and culture fit by screening and sourcing candidates and drive the end-to-end interview process.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume screening, interviews, and reference checks, to identify the best fit for open positions.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
Talent sourcing and building of talent pipeline
- Source, attract, and engage with qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, working with recruitment agencies and direct / active sourcing.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and industry professionals to expand the talent pool pipeline.
Managing Hiring Managers
- Work closely with Hiring Managers to understand their hiring needs and translate those needs into actions to attract talents.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on interview techniques, selection decisions, and offer negotiations.
- Review key hiring trends and indicators from the external environment to recommend appropriate plan and tactics to hiring managers so as to support the hiring plan.

- Drive recruitment processes improvement and digitalization effort to improve hiring efficiency and enhance candidate experience.
- Stay informed on legal and compliance requirements related to hiring practices and ensure adherence to requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and recruitment strategies to continuously improve the talent acquisition process.
Learning and Development
- Support the development and implementation of a digital learning ecosystem, integrating technology-driven and microlearning solutions tailored to China's workforce needs
- Facilitate capability-building initiatives that enhance both technical and leadership competencies, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives
- Align learning programs with career development and internal mobility frameworks, providing clear progression opportunities for employees
- Utilize data-driven insights to measure learning impact, linking employee development to business performance metrics such as productivity, retention, and innovation
- Optimize training budgets by prioritizing high-impact development initiatives and leveraging local partnerships for cost-effective solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years focusing on recruitment
- Strong command of the English language and the general ability to communicate clearly is essential
- Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and managing of job offer process
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related disciplines
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
