WE ARE LOOKING FOR .....Responsible for assessing individual life insurance applications based on guidelines set for the issuance of AIA insurance policies. To process and/or underwrite life insurance plans that are out sourced from SG AIA to OSS within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) signed between SG AIA and OSS.
a)Process/Underwrite all life insurance applications that are out sourced to the department according to the agreed Standard Operating Procedure and guidelines.
b)Ensure all cases assigned are being processed accurately with prudent risk assessment being performed and within the agreed TAT and Quality as documented in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the business partner.
c)Maintains a high level of accuracy (Quality) and seeks to improve individual quality scores from time to time.
d)Maintains a high level of Productivity and seeks to improve individual productivity scores from time to time.
e)Maintains a good personal record of training in line with the training framework of OSS.
f)Shows keenness to develop technical competency by improving underwriting authority.
g)Evaluate an individual's medical history or physical condition, occupational hazards, financial background, insurable interest and other information to determine whether to accept, modify or decline a risk
h)Collaborate with the field force or other functions of AIA to gather information for decision-making
i)Explain and defend any underwriting actions
j)To provide service to agency members when necessary, including consultation through face-to-face, calls, emails or chat.
k) Any other ad-hoc assignments - Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate supervisor/ manager in order to meet business requirements
