About Us
We expand our facilities and introduce new specialty programs; we are seeking an experienced Sport & Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced rehab services in the region.
Position Overview
The Sport & Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist will play a key role in providing comprehensive therapy services, supporting program development, and enhancing clinical standards within the centre. This position is ideal for a senior clinician who is passionate about patient outcomes, innovation, and helping shape the future of a rapidly expanding rehab facility.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed assessments of patients physical, functional, and cognitive abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and evidence-based practice.
Deliver hands-on therapy sessions including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional retraining.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, lifestyle modifications, and long-term recovery strategies.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Contribute to the development of new rehab programs, protocols, and service lines as part of the centre's expansion.
Be available to conduct home visit sessions when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or related rehabilitation field.
8–10 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation (private centre, hospital, or specialist clinic).
Additional certification or training in Sport Rehab or Stroke Rehab is a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of evidence-based rehabilitation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Competencies
Expertise in gait training, balance retraining, and functional mobility.
Experience with cardiac rehab protocols and exercise prescription.
Familiarity with rehab technologies, assistive devices, and adaptive equipment.
Ability to manage complex cases and provide high-quality patient education.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
