Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain database queries, reports, and data solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with application, reporting, and business teams to ensure accurate, high-performance data retrieval and processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
- Develop and maintain database objects such as tables, indexes, functions, and triggers
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance
- Tune and optimize SQL queries for high-volume and complex datasets
- Work with developers and business teams to convert requirements into data solutions
- Support reporting, dashboards, and analytics
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance issues
- Participate in database migrations and upgrades
- Follow best practices for security, backup, and recovery
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL)
- Expertise in:
- SELECT, JOIN, SUBQUERIES
- GROUP BY, HAVING
- WINDOW FUNCTIONS
- Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers
- Strong understanding of indexes, query execution plans, and performance tuning
- Experience in ETL or data integration is a plus
- Good understanding of data modeling and normalization
- Ability to work with large datasets
Nice to Have
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting
- Exposure to cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP BigQuery)
Experience & Education
- 3+ years of experience as an SQL Developer / Database Developer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
