About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive/ Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Account Executive/ Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive taxation services and financial advisory to our valued clients. This is a full-time position based in Senai, Johor.
What you'll be doing
- Responsible for daily finance and accounts operation
- Preparation monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations (Malaysian Financial REporting Standard, Malaysian Income Tax Act, Malaysian Company Act, Bank Negara regulation, Sales Tax Act 2018, MITI regulation, MIDA regulation) and internal policies
- Liaise with external auditor, tax consultant, banker, company secretary and external stakeholder
- To perform any specific task that required from time to time requested by the management of the company
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of sales tax returns and withholding payments
What we're looking for
- At least Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standard (MFRS) and Malaysian Taxation
- Proficiency using accounting software or ERP system
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skill
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and willing to learn new skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English, Malay & Mandarin. We are seeking candidate who is proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin speaking colleague
