SUMMARY:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for end‑to‑end accounting for Crocs Malaysia. This includes the preparation of periodic financial reports, maintaining a robust system of accounting records, and ensuring strong internal controls to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of reported financial results.

The role has a strong focus on Supply Chain and Record‑to‑Report (RTR) activities, including period close, inventory accounting, audit support, and internal reporting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE:

  • Manage and oversee daily and monthly accounting operations for Crocs Malaysia, partnering closely with Shared Services and regional and global accounting teams.
  • Oversee supply chain and general ledger functions, including inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, intercompany and intracompany revenue, cost of goods sold, and profit tracking.
  • Perform accounts receivable, revenue and inventory reconciliations for Dotcom and Marketplace channels, and manage cash receipt clearing.
  • Support E invoicing processes across all business channels (Retail, Dotcom, Marketplaces) and assist in preparing and issuing self billed e invoices for imports and purchases where applicable.
  • Conduct reconciliations and validations between SAP and non SAP systems across entities; escalate discrepancies and participate in IT enhancement UAT and go live activities.
  • Review general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness, and develop corrective action plans when needed.
  • Manage statutory reporting for Crocs Malaysia, ensuring all filings are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Participate in the inventory physical count at retail stores / warehouse
  • Work closely with external auditors by preparing required schedules, addressing inquiries promptly, and coordinating with the corporate team.
  • Identify, address, and resolve control deficiencies to support a clean control audit.
  • Review and approve Blackline balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Participate in and support new system projects and enhancement initiatives as required.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance to documented policies and procedures and adherence to US GAAP
  • Ensure SOX compliance of key controls for financial processes
  • Work collaboratively with regional accounting peers and cross-functionally within the Company
  • Partner with global teams to standardize and align processes in the most optimal method
  • Seek and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, AR/AP and Internal Audit

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • CPA Preferred
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Familiarity with Infor Nexus/GTN (supply chain platform) is a plus
  • Reconciliation tools (preferably Blackline)
  • Experienced Excel user
  • Shared Service Center experience (In-house/Third Party)
  • Strong financial process experience, including financial close, reporting, and working with independent auditors
  • Understanding of internal controls and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel expected, though occasional domestic and international trips may be required for the Singapore regional office
