II. POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for comprehensive tax calculation for China entities, including monthly, quarterly,
and annual tax calculations, and related tax and governmental tax reporting, ensures accurate statistics
reporting through SAP and BPC systems.
The position also supports subsidy forecasting, JV governance, and partner communications, driving
compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery across all assigned finance processes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
This position is accountable for the following end results:
1) Support for Tax Compliance on Calculation and Reporting
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual tax calculations for assigned China entities, ensuring completeness and ontime delivery.
Submit tax applications (e.g., withholding tax, import/export VAT) or coordinate with Field Finance/local tax
firms for bureau submission where required.
Work closely with Tax Reporting team in China to ensure the tax filing is completed timely and accurately.
2) Support local tax and government audits and providing the required information, working closely with Tax
Reporting team and Corp Tax team to follow the tax audits and requests.
3) VAT/WHT Reconciliations & Account Control
Execute VAT reconciliations (WD+2/3) across entities; investigate variances and drive clearance of issues.
Perform Cadency reconciliations for VAT and WHT accounts; monitor and resolve open items with
stakeholders
4) Statistics Reporting Preparation
Prepare statistics reporting by assembling and loading SAP/HR/taxpayment data into BPC and ensuring
readiness for downstream submissions.
5) Incentives & JV Governance Support
Forecast subsidies for BDS and provide input to planning/forecast cycles.
Support JV GM in preparing financial reports to JV partners; coordinate partner requests and participate in
BOD meetings where applicable.
6) Maintain China Fixed Assets Local Tax Book
Download the SAP fixed assets local book into Access (China Fixed Assets tax book).
Coordinate reviews and updates with Field Accountants and Corporate Tax.
7) Others
During the transition period, this incumbent is responsible to handover the tasks from other team members
And keep the documents handover, including working and coordinating with related stakeholders to achieve
the smooth transition
8)Support local statutory audits (document coordination).
9)Other tasks assigned by the managers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, taxation or a related discipline (required).
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in taxation-tax reporting and tax calculation
Experience coordinating with local tax bureaus is an advantage, working in outsourcing services in Taxation is a
plus.
Technical Skills
Solid understanding of China tax regulations, VAT/WHT processes, and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in SAP, BPC, and Excel; familiarity with statistics reporting tools.
Competencies
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational ability.
Effective communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of finance processes.
Language
Fluent in Mandarin (can read and write Chinese); business-level English for internal and external communications.
