POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sr. Associate, Logistics & Freight Management will be a vital role in ensuring the success and operational excellence of the Alcon TMS. The Sr. Associate, Logistics & Freight Management will be responsible for training of other end users, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in all areas of the TMS. The Sr. Associate, Logistics & Freight Management will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of TMS data and managing the exceptions within TMS in a timely manner to meet customer expectations for deliveries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track financial & operational KPIs, identify root causes, coordinate to implement resolutions
  • Build up and maintain transportation database, perform analysis, and propose optimization solutions
  • Setup, monitor, and optimize the transportation processes, including freight audit & pay, freight track & trace, etc
  • Ensure fully utilize of technologies, including CTSI, TMS, P44, Aera.
  • Propose and support optimization projects
  • Work with teammates to achieve tactical and strategic goals

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's degree and above
  • Fluently read, write, and communicate in English
  • Accountable and dedicated team player
  • Strong analytical skills, keen on work and talk based on data & fact
  • Above 3 years of relevant experience
  • SAP, Excel, dashboard, database (MS Access preferred)

  • Preferred Requirements:
  • TMS experience
