Job Description

Overview

Senior Financial Analyst who responsible for preparing financials, assist in daily accounting operations for some countries, and undertake any tasks as assigned by Manager from time to time. This position also reviewing financials submit by Asia Pacific countries for US consolidation. Ensure US GAAP reporting standards and corporate policies are followed by countries.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

  • Work with finance team members and GBS to ensure timely and accurate completion of management reporting according to Herbalife polices and guidelines as well as US GAAP.
  • Reviewing journals or reporting prepared by GBS team.
  • Ad-hoc task assigned from reporting manager.
  • Support monthly closing process related to accounting including but not limited to the timely submission of country Trial Balances, ensure accuracy of all month end reports, ensure completion of monthly reconciliations and account analysis, address day to day country level accounting issues.
  • Perform analytically review of monthly submissions from Asia Pacific countries for US consolidation.
  • Ensure US GAAP reporting standards and corporate policies are followed.
  • Ensure countries adopt best accounting practices, operate efficient processes and comply to Corporate and Regional policies.
  • Ensure countries have proper control in place.
  • Participate in various projects (such as system rollout, process improvement and standardization etc) as requested by the Regional and Corporate Controllership.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • At least 3 years accounting experience, working experience in international audit firm is a bonus
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX.
  • Experience working with teams located in different geographical location is preferred
  • Strong Excel skills.and proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge and exposure of ERP system such as Oracle and One Stream is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to produce clear and concise documents, reports and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Bachelor Degree holder in Accounting & Finance or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified accountant with ACCA or equivalent qualification.
