Role Summary
MKS is entering a major growth phase across APAC and seeks an experienced Talent Acquisition leader to drive regional hiring delivery, operational excellence and strategic workforce planning. The role oversees large hiring expansions in Malaysia and Thailand, BAU recruitment in China and other markets and leads a geographically dispersed TA team in close partnership with senior business and HR leaders. The ideal candidate blends strong leadership capability with strategic advisory and hands‑on execution to build scalable recruitment capability across a diverse region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead APAC TA strategy and operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and consistent delivery.
- Drive large-scale hiring in Malaysia and Thailand while overseeing BAU recruitment across other APAC locations.
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment for high‑volume roles and specialized technical positions.
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi‑country TA team to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Build strong partnerships with regional leadership, site management, and HR, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Streamline recruiting processes, tools, workflows, and reporting to scale efficiently.
- Anticipate and resolve operational bottlenecks to improve speed, quality, and candidate experience.
- Run major regional recruitment programs end‑to‑end, including workforce planning, resourcing, timelines, and risk management.
- Represent TA in regional leadership forums with market insights and workforce recommendations.
- Track key recruiting metrics and drive continuous improvement in delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Role Requirements
- Significant APAC recruitment leadership experience, ideally in high‑volume environments (manufacturing, technology, RPO, or scaling organizations).
- Proven success leading multi‑country teams and driving engagement and performance across diverse markets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage rapid hiring ramp‑ups and complex pipelines.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior leaders.
- Experience in fast‑moving, matrixed environments; comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Solid operational rigor: process optimization, project management, reporting, metrics, and governance.
- Ability to flex between strategic leadership and hands‑on execution as needed.
- Fluency in English required; additional APAC languages (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Thai) highly advantageous.
