Job Overview:

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of our complex network infrastructure. You will spearhead efforts to fast track 10G implementations while leveraging your extensive operations experience to optimize network performance and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage network solutions across various platforms with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Configure and optimize routing protocols including eBGP, iBGP, and EIGRP to ensure efficient data flow across networks.
• Develop and implement complex Access Control Lists (ACLs) to enhance network security.
• Utilize Git repositories for version control and collaboration on network configurations and templates.
• Implement network configuration templating to streamline and automate deployment processes.
• Manage and maintain overlay technologies such as LISP or similar, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Lead initiatives to fast track 10G implementations, accelerating innovation and enhancing testing environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, providing expert-level support for escalated incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in network operations with a strong understanding of routing protocols (eBGP, iBGP, EIGRP).
• Proficiency in creating and managing complex ACLs.
• Experience with Git repositories and network configuration templating.
• Familiarity with LISP or similar overlay technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to perform implementations, showcasing innovative approaches to network testing and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent is highly desirable.
