Job Summary
As a Process Engineer at Enovix, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and scaling manufacturing processes for advanced lithium-ion battery technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, equipment engineering, and quality to ensure robust, high-yield production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize processes for cell assembly using Enovix's patented 3D architecture.
- Support NTP and transfer to high-volume manufacturing with high process capability.
- Design and execute experiments using DOE methodologies to improve yield and performance.
- Collaborate with equipment engineers to specify, qualify, and troubleshoot custom manufacturing equipment.
- Implement SPC, FMEA, and other quality tools to monitor and improve process stability.
- Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations and quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in lithium-ion battery manufacturing or similar high-tech production environments will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and proficiency in statistical tools including SPC, JMP, and other relevant software.
- Hands-on experience with process development, scale-up, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Good interpersonal skills.

- Experience with automation and custom equipment integration.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and precision manufacturing.
