Sr Test Analyst (Cards)

Senior Test Analyst responsible for testing new and existing systems based on business and technical requirements.

Work closely with the Test Lead/Test Manager to design, prepare, and execute test cases, mainly for System Integration Testing.

Review business requirements, functional specifications, system designs, and technical documents to identify gaps, risks, and issues.

Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, RTM, test reports, and sign-off documents.

Translate business requirements and user stories into clear testing scenarios and executable test cases.

Define SIT scope, objectives, entry/exit criteria, timelines, resources, risks, and mitigation plans.

Design and execute end-to-end SIT scenarios covering integration points, data flow, message exchange, and system dependencies.

Coordinate test environment readiness and prepare test data based on real business transaction scenarios.

Execute test cases, validate results, log defects in JIRA with proper evidence, and track defects until closure.

Work with developers, business users, interfacing teams, and stakeholders to resolve defects, retest fixes, and manage blockers.

Prepare daily/weekly test progress reports, defect status reports, and maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance.

Require 6–10 years of testing experience, banking/cards domain knowledge, JIRA experience, basic automation/coding knowledge, strong analytical skills, and CTFL/ISTQB certification preferred.
