Position: Video Editor (AI & Motion)

Role Overview
In this role, you will transform ideas into compelling visual content that brings our brand, products, and campaigns to life. You'll work closely with the creative, marketing, and product teams to produce high-impact videos for ads, social media, educational content, product explainers, webinars, and brand storytelling.
The ideal candidate is not just skilled with editing tools, but you will be responsible for editing and producing engaging short-form videos that capture our brand voice and elevate STARTRADER's digital presence across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce short-form videos across platforms such as Douyin, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, and Bilibili. Deliver high-quality outputs aligned with brand standards to strengthen the company's professional image.
- Stay current with platform trends, creatively leveraging viral topics and formats to enhance engagement.
- Independently produce basic 3D visuals such as title animations, IP character effects, and motion graphics packaging.
- Contribute to developing and refining the visual identity of IP-related video content.
- Work closely with social media and HQ design teams to ensure consistent brand expression.
- Assemble raw footage, synchronize audio, adjust color, and enhance visual quality.
- Create motion graphics, transitions, overlays, and animated text where needed.
- Optimize videos for various platforms, ensuring correct formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
- Adapt content for different audiences and markets when needed.
- Manage multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Requirements And Skills
- Editing Experience: At least 1 year of experience in short-form video editing; portfolio on Douyin, Bilibili, or Xiaohongshu preferred.
- Technical Skills: Premiere、After Effects、Final Cut Pro Blender、C4D.
- Proficient in Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro; familiarity with 3D tools such as Blender or C4D is a plus.
- AI Tools for Video Creation: Runway ML、Descript、Pika、Synthesia、CapCut AI.
- Proficient in using AI tools such as Runway ML, Descript, Pika, Synthesia, and CapCut AI for speech generation, captioning, and background removal to streamline workflow.
- Storytelling Sense: Strong sense of pacing, visual composition, and camera storytelling for short-form content.
- Trend Awareness: High awareness of internet culture and trends, with the ability to integrate them creatively into videos.
- Communication & Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills; proactive and positive attitude.
- Aesthetic & Creativity: Strong visual aesthetics, storytelling rhythm, and creative problem-solving mindset.
Portfolio Requirement

- Projects demonstrating the use of AI tools (e.g. Runway, Descript, Pika) are a plus
