Job Description

Position: AIGC Video Editor & Motion Producer

Location: Kuala Lumpur (On-site)

Job Type: Full time

Company Description

STARTRADER is one of the world's fastest-growing brokers that provides leading, continuously optimized and advisory solutions to clients globally. With us, you can trade hundreds of financial instruments across asset classes – CFD on forex, metals, commodities, indices, and shares. STARTRADER is the brand representing a network of regulated and licensed entities across various jurisdictions, each authorized to provide specific financial services in compliance with local regulations.

We're expanding fast—and we're looking for talented people who want to grow their careers in a forward-thinking fintech environment built on innovation, integrity, and excellence.

Role Overview

We are hiring an AIGC Video Editor whose production workflow is built around generative AI as the primary engine — not a side tool. You will treat Runway, Kling, Pika, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, CapCut AI, and Premiere/After Effects as a single integrated toolchain, using AI for ideation, scripting, b-roll generation, voiceover, multilingual dubbing, digital presenters, and subtitling, while keeping the timeline craft, motion design, and color work at a professional standard.

You will produce short-form and long-form content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels, Telegram, and STARTRADER's owned channels across Malaysia and the wider SEA region. A strong portion of your output will be multilingual — English plus Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin Chinese — so AI dubbing, localization, and culturally aware delivery are core, not optional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce 15+ short-form social videos per week and 2–4 long-form / educational videos per month, primarily for finance, trading, and lifestyle audiences across Malaysia and SEA.
  • Run AI across every production stage: scripting (ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini), video generation (Seedance 2.0, Runway Gen-3/4, Kling, Pika, Luma), voiceover and multilingual dubbing (ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Seedance 2.0 native audio), digital presenters (HeyGen, Synthesia, D-ID), captions and translation (CapCut AI, Descript, Submagic).
  • Deliver multilingual versions of key content — English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin Chinese — using AI dubbing and culturally aware adaptation, not literal translation.
  • Build and maintain a library of reusable AI prompts, generation templates, and motion presets the team can scale across campaigns and regional rollouts.
  • Stay on top of TikTok / Reels / YouTube Shorts trends, viral formats, and meme cycles relevant to fintech and trading audiences across Malay, Chinese, and English-speaking communities in Malaysia.
  • Edit, color-grade, sound-mix, and motion-design with professional polish in Premiere Pro and After Effects. AI gets you to draft fast; craft gets you across the finish line.
  • Adapt master assets into multiple aspect ratios, durations, and platform-specific cuts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Content, Design, and regional teams across SEA — pitch ideas, not just execute briefs.

Must-Have AIGC Capabilities (Core Requirements)

You should be able to demonstrate, in your portfolio or in interview, hands-on production work with:

  • AI video generation: Seedance 2.0 (multimodal, native-audio), Runway (Gen-3 / Gen-4), Kling, Pika, Luma, or comparable — at production quality, not just demo reels.
  • AI voiceover & multilingual dubbing: ElevenLabs, HeyGen, or similar — including Bahasa Malaysia and / or Mandarin Chinese voice work.
  • AI avatars / digital presenters: HeyGen, Synthesia, or D-ID.
  • AI-assisted editing and post: CapCut AI, Descript, Submagic for cuts, captions, silence removal, auto-translation.
  • Image-to-video and AI b-roll workflows for stylized or hard-to-shoot scenes.
  • Prompt engineering — you can write effective prompts, iterate on failures, and articulate why a generated result looks the way it does.

Bonus AIGC Capabilities

  • ComfyUI or Stable Diffusion-based video workflows (AnimateDiff, ControlNet, IPAdapter).
  • Custom LoRA training or model fine-tuning for brand-consistent generation.
  • Lip-sync, face-swap, or talking-head tools (used ethically and on-brief).
  • Workflow automation via n8n, Make, Zapier, or lightweight Python / JavaScript scripting.
  • Experience building AI agent-style production pipelines (e.g. brief → script → voice → edit, semi-automated).
  • Hands-on with native audio-video models (Seedance 2.0, Veo 3, etc.) — you understand when to use unified generation vs. when to stitch video + ElevenLabs separately.

Traditional Editing Foundations (Still Required)

  • Minimum 1–2 years of professional video editing experience.
  • Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects — non-negotiable. AIGC does not replace timeline craft.
  • Solid fundamentals in pacing, transitions, motion graphics, color correction, and audio mixing.
  • Fluent across 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 — you know what each platform's cut should feel like.
  • Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Blender, or Cinema 4D is a plus.

Language Requirements

  • English: working proficiency required — written and spoken. You will collaborate with a regional team and review English-language briefs and scripts daily.
  • Bahasa Malaysia and / or Mandarin Chinese: at least one required at native or near-native level. Both is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience producing or localizing content for Malay and / or Chinese-Malaysian audiences strongly preferred.

You're a Fit If

  • You ship. You would rather output 20 good drafts and pick the best 5 than spend a week perfecting one.
  • You can describe your AIGC workflow in detail — which tool for which stage, why, and where it breaks.
  • You watch TikTok and Reels as research, not entertainment, and you can name what's trending across Malay, Chinese, and English content in Malaysia this week.
  • You stay calm under deadlines and run multiple projects in parallel without dropping balls.
  • You are curious about new AI models and tools — you experiment with releases the week they drop, not the year after.

Portfolio Requirements

Please include with your application:

  • 5+ recent video projects, with at least 3 published within the last 6 months.
  • At least 2 projects that explicitly use AIGC tools — please tell us which tools, at which stages, and what the result was.
  • Showreel or links (YouTube, TikTok, Behance, personal site).
  • Multilingual work strongly preferred — please flag English / Bahasa Malaysia / Mandarin examples.
  • Optional but appreciated: a one-paragraph description of your current AIGC video workflow, including your favourite tool stack and a recent experiment that failed.
