RAC Architecture and Design: Architect and design Oracle RAC solutions for mission-critical applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle RAC environments, including clusterware, database software, and related components.
Performance Tuning: Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of Oracle RAC clusters to ensure optimal resource utilization and performance.
High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement and support high-availability solutions, including Data Guard, Oracle Flashback, and backups to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of Oracle RAC-related issues, including system outages, slow performance, and configuration problems.
RMAN Backup Configuration: Ensure that RMAN (Recovery Manager) backups are configured correctly, running without errors, and completing successfully on time for all Oracle RAC databases.
Perform regular checks to ensure RMAN backups are executed as scheduled.
Troubleshoot and resolve any backup failures promptly.
Work with the team to ensure that backup retention policies, archiving, and recovery plans are properly followed.
Patch Management: Plan and execute patching of Oracle RAC systems to keep environments current with security patches, bug fixes, and new features.
Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for database management, monitoring, and automation of routine tasks (using tools like Ansible, Shell Scripting, or other automation tools).
