Staff Engineer, PKI

• As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing PKI solutions in C/C++/Python
• You will design and develop features for Netskope PKI hierarchy.
• You will utilize your knowledge of Certificate Authority Management to build API gateways for generating certificates, CSRs etc.
• Use advanced data structures and algorithms in C, C++, Python

Required skills and experience

• 8+ years of hands-on design & development experience in building PKI security solutions at industrial scale
• Experience with Key Management Life Cycle - Key Generation, Storage, Distribution, Backup, Rotation, Revocation, Destruction etc.
• Experience with digital certificate life-cycle management and related domain experience (X509 standard, CRL, OCSP).
• Hands on experience and knowledge of TLS, PKI.
• Experience with technologies like EST, OIDC, SAML Authentication etc is plus.
• Track record of championing security best practices
• Programming mastery in C/C++ and Python
• Strong communication, organization, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work unsupervised, exercise leadership, and influence change
• Working knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience in working with AWS or GCP
• Experience and solid understanding of microservices architecture

Education

• BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred

• Experience developing and maintaining distributed cloud services
