Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff IP Design Engineer, located in Penang, Malaysia. The engineer will focus on the development, verification, and integration of IP cores for low-power programmable devices. Core responsibilities include designing innovative IP solutions, ensuring IP compatibility with product requirements, performing technical verification, and documenting specifications. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support implementation, assessment, and optimization of design components.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in RTL Design, Verilog/SystemVerilog, and digital logic simulation
  • Experience with FPGA design, synthesis, and place-and-route tools such as Synplify and Vivado
  • Skills in IP design and verification, including simulation and debugging
  • Knowledge of system interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and DDR memory
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field
  • Experience in low-power design techniques is a plus
