We Are Looking To Recruit a Physicist For
- System integration and qualification of systems, tools, and components for our
- Development of analytical instruments for X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry and X-Ray Diffraction.
- Support of Operations in producing and testing X-Ray analytical equipment .
Responsibilities
The successful candidate shall be responsible for:
- Development and optimization of products and components.
- Defining and optimizing workflows for instruments.
- Supporting product ramp-up to serial production and approval of quality standard for assembled products.
- Reviewing standard operating procedures and improving assembly and testing processes.
- Maintaining our existing portfolio together with operations, purchasing and vendors.
Efficient cooperation with engineering in mechanics, electronics, software including other
Bruker sites and vendors
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Physics, or other Physical science subject
- 3 years experience of R&D in industry,
- Experience in X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy, X-Ray Diffraction, analytical instrumentation, or other X-ray analytical techniques.
- Understanding and hands-on experience of data collection and evaluation.
- Basic knowledge in programming and electronics-design appreciated.
- Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Appreciation and understanding of different cultures and religions.
- Very good communication skills for both internal and global teleconferences in English
- Assignment requires 1–2-month training session at a Bruker headquarters in Europe and occasional travel to Europe within R&D projects.
