Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Execute daily import and export administration and control activities.
- Manage and monitor the transit time performance of freight forwarders and transporters.
- Handle freight forwarder management and insurance claims.
- Plan, monitor, and ensure smooth shipment movements, efficient logistics flow, and timely deliveries.
- Manage continuous improvement projects with freight forwarders and transporters.
- Assist the Customs Officer (CO) and ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external parties (e.g., Customs, FMM, and logistics service providers) as well as counterparts at other sites.
- Participate in budgeting, planning, and forecasting of import and export freight costs.

- Bachelor's degree required, postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of business processes, particularly in supply chain management, project management, customs regulations and free trade agreements.
