Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence. Able to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. This role provides in-depth knowledge and guidance on tax and statutory accounting matters, ensuring compliance and efficient operations. Requires a deep understanding of relevant tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Including the ability to translate that knowledge into practical solutions for continuous process improvement to create value for the business.

As Stat to Tax SME, you will be responsible for:

• Serving as the subject matter expert for Stat to Tax processes within the SAP Central Finance landscape.

• Ensuring accurate configuration and integration of tax and statutory accounting functionalities across SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, SLT, Group Reporting).

• Collaborating with SAP functional and technical teams to resolve system issues and implement enhancements.

• Interpreting and apply local statutory and tax requirements within SAP to ensure compliance across all relevant entities.

• Supporting the design and maintenance of tax determination rationale, statutory reporting templates, and audit trails within the system.

• Liaising with external auditors and tax authorities by providing system-generated reports and documentation.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have an Accounting or Finance professional qualifications.

• Possess good knowledge & understanding of tax and statutory accounting.

• Have a Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college

• Partner with global finance, tax, and IT teams to ensure seamless execution of Stat to Tax processes.

• Provide training and guidance to users on SAP functionalities related to statutory and tax reporting.

• Act as a key liaison between business users and SAP support teams during system upgrades, rollouts, and issue resolution.
