StorageOperations
Monitorstorage&backupsystemsperformanceandcapacityusingstandardtools.
RespondtoalertsandresolveincidentswithindefinedSLAs.
PerformroutinehealthchecksandmaintenanceactivitiesonstoragearraysandSAN
environments
PerformroutinebackuprestorerequestbyBusiness.
Troubleshooting&Support
Diagnoseandresolvestorage&backuprelatedissues(SANconnectivity,diskfailures,
performancebottlenecks).
EscalatecomplexproblemstoLevel2/Managerasneeded.
Providesupportforend-usersandinternalteamsregardingstorageprovisioningandaccess.
Configuration&Implementation
Assistinconfigurationofstoragearrays,SANswitches,andbackupsystems.
Supportstoragestandardchangesfollowingapprovedchangemanagementprocesses.
Compliance&Security
Applysecuritypolicies(e.g.,accesscontrol,patching).
Participateinvulnerabilityremediationactivities.
Documentation
Maintainaccuraterecordsofstorageconfigurations,incidents,andchanges.
Updatestoragediagramsandinventorylists.
JobRequirements:-
Education:Bachelor'sdegreeinComputerScience,InformationTechnology,orrelatedfield.
Experience:8+yearsinstorageandbackupengineeringwithatleast2yearsinasenior
technicalrole.
Certifications:Huawei,Dell,NetApp,HPE,orequivalent;knowledgeofbackupsolutions
(Veritas,Commvault,Veeam)preferred.
TechnicalSkills:
Storagetechnologies(SAN,NAS,RAID,LUNs,FibreChannel)
Backupplatformsanddisasterrecoverysolutions
Storageperformancetuningandcapacityplanning
Automation(Python,Ansible)
SoftSkills:Strongleadership,communication,andproblem-solvingabilities.
