Job Description

Position: Store Manager

Location: KL, Malaysia

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales performance, and deliver exceptional client experience within a luxury retail environment.

This role acts as a key business owner, responsible for leading the team, optimizing store performance, and ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Development & Brand Excellence

  • Build and maintain a strong and loyal client base through proactive client engagement
  • Deliver exceptional client experience in line with luxury service standards
  • Act as a brand ambassador within the local market
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities

Sales & Business Performance

  • Drive achievement of sales targets and KPIs
  • Monitor store performance and implement action plans to improve results
  • Maximize productivity, conversion rate, and average transaction value
  • Support manpower planning to ensure optimal floor coverage

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily store operations including stock management and visual merchandising
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation and organization
  • Ensure accurate stock movement and minimize shrinkage

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, motivate, and coach team members to achieve business goals
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture

Commercial & Cost Control

  • Monitor store expenses and ensure alignment with business targets
  • Support profitability through effective cost and resource management
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in retail management
  • 4+ years managerial experience in a retail setting
  • Experience in luxury or premium retail is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership - able to develop, mentor and coach a sales team
  • Results-driven with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good understanding of retail operations and KPIs
  • Good command of English
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
