Position: Store Manager
Location: KL, Malaysia
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales performance, and deliver exceptional client experience within a luxury retail environment.
This role acts as a key business owner, responsible for leading the team, optimizing store performance, and ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Development & Brand Excellence
- Build and maintain a strong and loyal client base through proactive client engagement
- Deliver exceptional client experience in line with luxury service standards
- Act as a brand ambassador within the local market
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities
Sales & Business Performance
- Drive achievement of sales targets and KPIs
- Monitor store performance and implement action plans to improve results
- Maximize productivity, conversion rate, and average transaction value
- Support manpower planning to ensure optimal floor coverage
Operations Management
- Oversee daily store operations including stock management and visual merchandising
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and organization
- Ensure accurate stock movement and minimize shrinkage
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, motivate, and coach team members to achieve business goals
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
Commercial & Cost Control
- Monitor store expenses and ensure alignment with business targets
- Support profitability through effective cost and resource management
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in retail management
- 4+ years managerial experience in a retail setting
- Experience in luxury or premium retail is highly preferred
- Strong leadership - able to develop, mentor and coach a sales team
- Results-driven with strong commercial awareness
- Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good understanding of retail operations and KPIs
- Good command of English
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
