About the Role
Our client is a leading digital infrastructure company that owns and operates telecommunications infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region. As they continue to expand their footprint, they are seeking a commercially minded and analytical professional to support strategic planning, business performance, and commercial initiatives that drive sustainable growth.
In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop business plans, evaluate strategic opportunities, perform market and financial analysis, and strengthen pricing and commercial frameworks across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of the company's long-range business plan, annual business plan, and rolling forecasts.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate capital investments and strategic initiatives.
- Analyse business performance, market trends, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to support business planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and analyse business and financial data.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of planning assumptions, reports, and financial information.
- Develop pricing strategies and commercial frameworks for new and existing products and services.
- Prepare commercial proposals, partnership models, and evaluate their financial viability.
- Partner with Sales and business stakeholders to establish pricing structures and support commercial negotiations.
- Drive governance and continuous improvement of commercial and pricing frameworks across the organization.
- Support strategic projects and other business initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Telecommunications Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Corporate Planning, Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, Pricing, or Strategy-related roles.
- Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to develop financial models and present insights effectively.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or ICAEW will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
