About the role

We are looking for a Strategic Sales Manager - Power System to join our dynamic team at CLLS Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for driving new business development for our power system solutions in the Kulai Johor, Malaysia, Thailand and other Asean countries. Your strategic sales approach and industry expertise will be key to expanding our customer base and achieving our ambitious growth targets.

What will be your responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the data centre sector — hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge

- Build a qualified pipeline of strategic opportunities and drive deals from prospecting to close

- Secure direct access to top-tier developers, EPCs, consultants, and OEMs

- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and project movements to sharpen your go-to-market strategy

Account Management

- Build and nurture strong relationships with C-level executives, IT infrastructure managers, procurement teams, and consultants

- Understand customer pain points and deliver tailored power solutions that add real value

- Lead technical presentations, solution workshops, and exhibitions

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals toward individual and team targets

- Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams for seamless project delivery

- Provide regular pipeline reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management

Financial & Strategic Planning

- Own the Power Systems sales budget — orders, revenue, and gross margin targets

- Contribute to the annual strategic plan, including portfolio expansion and overseas growth

- Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, AR management, and ISO9001 standards

  3. 2. Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  4. 3. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  5. 4. Understanding of power system technologies, industry trends and customer requirements
  6. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities
  7. 6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across different departments
  8. 7. Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
