Job Description

Our client is a leading financial services organisation in Malaysia, with a strong market presence and a commitment to operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement. Currently they are looking for Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business and long-term organisational objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including market analysis, supplier selection, evaluation, and contract negotiations.
  • Drive procurement governance, compliance, and best practices to improve efficiency, manage risk, and optimise costs.
  • Manage strategic and high-value contracts, including negotiations, performance monitoring, and reporting to senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure service continuity, value delivery, and innovation.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, resolve procurement challenges, and ensure high stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 610 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably within banking, financial services, or large corporate environments.
  • Strong experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and procurement governance.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-value sourcing initiatives and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
