As the Expansion Architect, you will be at the forefront of the company's aggressive international growth. This role sits within a specialized project team (internally known as the International Project Management Office or IPMO) and is responsible for bridging the gap between high-level corporate strategy and ground-level operational execution in new markets
RequirementsIn-Depth Analysis: Lead and support the planning for new market entries by conducting comprehensive research on local demographics, competitor landscapes, and regulatory requirements.
Market Mapping: Perform detailed market mapping to inform country-specific strategies and data-driven business decisions.
Risk Mitigation: Identify potential market opportunities and risks; propose and drive the execution of mitigation strategies with precision and agility.
Operational Stability: Oversee and monitor post-expansion activities to ensure business readiness and operational stability immediately following a market launch.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance metrics and conduct deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, profitability, and scalability.
Local Team Support: Partner with local and regional teams to resolve operational challenges and optimize organizational structures.
Executive Reporting: Prepare progress updates, comprehensive reports, and high-level presentations for senior leadership to highlight achievements and next steps.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with internal departments and external service providers to ensure seamless alignment during and after market entry.
Framework Development: Collaborate with leadership to refine the processes, frameworks, and resources that support successful global expansions.
Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or Accounting; professional qualifications such as ACCA or CFA are a significant advantage.
Professional Experience:2–7 years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or corporate strategy.
Preferred Background: Experience within high-growth startups, retail sectors, or other fast-paced, evolving environments.
Technical Skills: * Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern project management tools.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders across different regions.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior management.
Mindset: A go-getter with an agile mindset, able to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
