Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially driven Business Analyst and Business Development to support the Head of Sales in driving business growth and strategic sales execution.

This role will serve as a key enabler to the sales organisation by overseeing sales funnel governance, managing sales resources and internal reporting, coordinating sales trade programmes, and supporting the development of new business models and commercial opportunities.

The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, structured, and data-driven, with strong business acumen and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. The role requires close collaboration across sales, finance, marketing, product, and leadership teams to improve sales effectiveness and unlock new growth opportunities.

The role requires the ability to conceptualise, structure, and commercialise innovative business opportunities and commercial frameworks that support the segment's growth objectives and long-term strategic direction.

The Day-To-Day Activities

Business Performance Management

Manage and monitor the end-to-end sales funnel pipeline, including opportunity tracking, funnel governance, forecasting accuracy, and conversion analysis.

  1. Support the Head of Corporate Segment in managing sales operations, resource planning, sales performance tracking, and execution priorities across the organisation.
  2. Develop, maintain, and enhance internal management reporting dashboards, business reviews, and performance analytics for leadership visibility and decision-making.
  3. Build financial and commercial business models to evaluate new business initiatives, partnerships, pricing structures, and go-to-market strategies.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Marketing, Product, Commercial, and Operations to support business case development and strategic initiatives.
  5. Support strategic planning exercises, annual budgeting processes, sales target allocation, and commercial performance reviews.

Business Development

  1. Identify, evaluate, and translate market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends into actionable business opportunities and new revenue streams for the segment.
  2. Create, structure, and commercialise new business concepts, commercial models, partnership frameworks, and go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the segment's business opportunities.

About You

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Engineering / Computer Sciences / Telecommunications / IT or Business Management
  • 5-8 years of experience in business analysis, sales operations, commercial strategy, business development, or consulting roles.
  • Experience in telecommunications, technology, enterprise solutions, or B2B commercial environments is an added advantage.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership and managing cross-functional commercial initiatives is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent PowerPoint presentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel and dashboard/reporting skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel management and business performance tracking.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strategic and a very analytical mindset
