Role Overview
The Strategy & Investment Analyst will be responsible for analysing our business performance, sharpening our financial models, and supporting leadership with insights that drive growth and profitability. You will play a central role in preparing for funding rounds, communicating our economic story clearly to investors, and ensuring that our unit economics and long-term business strategy are well understood.
This is not a traditional accounting role. It's a hands-on, high-impact position at the heart of a scaling startup, perfect for someone who wants to move beyond pure finance into the world of venture-backed growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Strategic Analysis
- Build and refine financial models for the company and business units (EBITDA, margins, breakeven, unit economics).
- Analyze farm-level and company-wide profitability, identifying drivers of performance.
- Support leadership in scenario planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
Fundraising Support
- Prepare financial materials, reports, and decks for investors.
- Work with leadership to ensure clear communication of our economic story to current and prospective investors.
- Assist in due diligence processes during fundraising rounds.
Business Performance & Insights
- Track key performance indicators across operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Partner with teams across the company to align business execution with financial goals.
What We're Looking For
- 13 years experience in consulting, corporate finance, or transaction advisory.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts (valuations, EBITDA, margins, unit economics).
- Excellent modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
- Clear communicator, able to translate numbers into actionable insights.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, and excited to be part of a high-growth startup.
