The opportunity

In this role, you will work closely with clients to transform their businesses through digital strategy, disruptive innovation enablement and transformational design solutions. You will lead the development of digital strategies and oversee the delivery of large-scale transformation programmes to enhance business and customer-facing platforms in a rapidly changing and competitive environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the development of digital strategies, transformation roadmaps and business cases aligned with client objectives and national digital agendas
• Drive research and analysis of industry trends, market dynamics and emerging technologies, translating insights into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Own the development and delivery of executive-level presentations, reports and workshops to articulate strategic direction and value realisation
• Lead the planning and execution of digital transformation programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines and expected outcomes
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, technology adoption and innovation across client organisations
• Oversee solution design and implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams (business, technology and vendors)
• Own end-to-end project delivery including planning, resourcing, budgeting and governance
• Monitor delivery progress, manage risks and issues, and drive mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
• Establish strong governance, reporting structures and performance tracking mechanisms
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and key partners
• Lead client meetings, steering committees and workshops, driving alignment and decision-making
• Identify opportunities for account growth and support business development through proposals and presentations
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering capabilities in digital strategy and transformation

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
• 5–7 years of experience in digital strategy, transformation and product or platform delivery
• Proven experience in developing high-quality digital concepts and solutions
• Good understanding or hands-on experience in building applications or platforms
• Experience delivering digital projects using agile methodologies
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business objectives into digital solutions
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers and product teams
• Strong experience with design thinking, design sprints and concept creation
• Familiarity with digital platforms such as e-commerce, self-service solutions, mobile applications and emerging technologies
• Experience with digital marketing, analytics and marketing automation tools
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including facilitating workshops and strategy discussions

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience across design thinking, user research, business process analysis and workshop facilitation
• Working knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
• Experience working within agile scrum teams
• Knowledge of user stories, epics and acceptance criteria development
• Prototyping or wireframing experience
• Advanced degree relevant to digital or strategy delivery
