About the role

We are seeking a talented Civil & Structure Engineer to join our dynamic team at WBL Perunding Sdn Bhd. As a full-time employee based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our civil and structural engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting structural analysis and design for a variety of civil engineering projects
• Preparing detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
• Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Participating in site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar
• Strong technical skills in areas like structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel design
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
