Manages product actual performance (including steering) of Subcon sites - majority Subcon sites are in China & Taiwan.
Oversees & understand all processes running at subcon sites.
Drive and to be on-site at subcon site, including international locations if necessary to ensure meeting cost, delivery, quality and product performance target.
Able to link all processes in subcon & understand connections and benchmarking in-house practice compliance to OS requirement.
Drive subcon for cost reduction, yield improvement & performance improvement through PPCM.
Work closely with internal cross function team and external manufacturing to ensure smooth transition of new process/new product implementation at Subcon, e.g. Ensure subcon adhere to the BOM requirements, ensure pre-production parts meeting the product and process requirements.
Ensure measurement accuracy at Subcon by performing routine measurement calibration and drive to close the gaps.
Analyze subcon data and KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield, cycle time, cost, defect rate) to identify trends and recommend improvement actions.
Support quality audit, line audit, customer line audit/visit to Subcon sites to ensure subcon adhere to the product and process requirements.
Counterpart to internal team such as product development, quality, supply chain, marketing, and purchaser on released products.
Work with subcon and to be on-site to witness the scrap activity which is carried out at subcon site.
Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering, Chemical or equivalent.
At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for senior position.
Professional working experience with project management.
Knowledge in process development and qualification is an added advantage.
Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility & commitment towards work
Possess a strong sense of independence and high motivation towards challenges.
8D, Reporting and Presentation Skill is a must
Preferably in a semiconductor manufacturing environment, including experience with assembly, test & SMT line operations, quality control, and process optimization.
Familiarity with automotive product requirements is an added advantage.
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification is a plus.
Proficiency in English and Chinese languages for both speaking and writing is a must as the main job responsibility is to manage Subcon sites in China & Taiwan.
