About the Role

A highly capable Entra ID SME with hands-on experience in identity migration, tenant consolidation, and governance implementation across Microsoft Entra ID environments.

This role places a strong emphasis on expertise in Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, while experience with supporting technologies such as Microsoft Purview Information Barriers, Quest T7 Migration Suite, SailPoint, and Cloud PKI will be considered a valuable advantage.

The SME will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting identity migration and governance initiatives, ensuring secure and seamless transitions across hybrid environments, while aligning with Zero Trust and modern identity protection principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead modernization and migration from on-premises AD to Microsoft Entra ID, including phased transitions and preferably legacy UNIX integration.
• Design and enforce Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM, and passwordless authentication aligned with Zero Trust principles.
• Plan and execute identity migration activities, including pilot runs, rollback support, coexistence setup, and tenant-to-tenant migrations. Experience with Quest tools such as T7 Migration Suite and OnDemand Recovery is highly desirable.
• Configure domain verification, licensing strategies, UPN suffixes, and administrative units to support scalable tenant architecture.
• Validate policy enforcement across Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Preferably with experience implementing and managing Microsoft Purview Information Barriers, including policy creation, validation, and exception handling.
• Standardize user attributes, manage access reviews, and automate identity lifecycle processes (joiner/mover/leaver).
• Hands-on experience integrating SailPoint and Microsoft Defender for Identity to enhance governance and threat detection is highly valued and considered a strong differentiator for this role.
• Experience configuring Cloud PKI and Azure DNS to support secure and scalable infrastructure is considered a valuable advantage.
• Support B2B/B2C identity configurations, federation, and external identity provider integration.
• Develop custom workflows using Power Automate and Graph API; guide adoption of Entra Verified ID for decentralized identity.
• Ensure compliance through audit configuration, reporting, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Deliver technical documentation, post-migration support, and performance monitoring.

Essential Requirement:

1. 3 - 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD environments.

2. Strong understanding of identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), authentication flows, and directory services.
