We are seeking a Content Moderator - SME - CSAM & CSEM Specialist to join our team in Southeast Asia. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content to ensure compliance with community guidelines and legal standards related to child safety and exploitation.
Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with community guidelines and legal standards related to CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) and CSEM (Child Sexual Exploitation Material).
- Identify, assess, and escalate potential CSAM and CSEM incidents in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and child protection agencies as necessary, ensuring timely reporting of illegal content.
- Maintain accurate records of moderation activities and outcomes, providing reports as required.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and issues related to CSAM and CSEM to improve moderation processes and training.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-10 years of experience in content moderation, digital safety, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of CSAM and CSEM issues, including relevant laws and regulations in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess content and make informed decisions quickly and accurately.
- Ability to handle sensitive content and situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and local languages.
- Proficiency in using moderation tools and software, as well as familiarity with various social media platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- MUST have minimum 2 years hands on experience as SME- Content Moderation
- Minimum Qualification Degree in Law, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Public Policy, or related field; or Equivalent Professional Experience.
- Demonstrated experience handling sensitive or complex Trust & Safety decision-making.
- Strong analytical reasoning, ethical judgment, and documentation skills.
- Ability to pass enhanced vetting, psychometric screening, and readiness assessments for exposure to sensitive material.
