Role Description

This Supervisor job is a full-time, on-site role located in Penang, Malaysia. The job will oversee daily team activities, ensure that performance targets are met, and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and team productivity. Responsibilities include monitoring team performance, providing guidance and mentoring, resolving issues to maintain a smooth workflow, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Supervisor will also prepare performance reports, collaborate with other departments, and identify training needs for team development.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in planning, delegation, and resolving operational challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare performance reports, and make evidence-based decisions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant supervisory or team leadership experience is highly advantageous.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and achieve goals under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise daily operations to ensure all work requests are completed on schedule and in accordance with Intel's requirements.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee team activities, including work schedules, attendance, discipline, production loading, work-in-progress, and documentation.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for operational quality and performance issues; prepare shift reports and attend operational meetings as required.
  • Ensure full compliance with company safety, quality, control, 6S, and company policies.
  • Monitor daily production targets and perform continuous control of 5M (Man, Machine, Material, Method and Metrology) to achieve operational efficiency.
  • Allocate well-trained personnel to the right processes to optimize productivity and output.
  • Drive workforce capability development through on-the-job training, enabling multi-skilling across service areas.
  • Communicate timely updates from management to the production team, including urgent demands, recovery plans, and committed delivery dates.
  • Monitor operators performance, conduct compliance audits, and enforce strong discipline and 5S/housekeeping standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, control, and cost optimization.
  • Maintain high standards of discipline, safety, productivity, and workplace organization across the production line.
