Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth operation of the store, overseeing receiving processes, stock management, and compliance with inventory control procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Receiving & Stock Management:
- Verify and receive food, beverage, and general items, ensuring correct quantity, condition, and packaging
- Ensure all received goods are properly tagged, labeled, and stored in an orderly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
- Stack and replenish stock, including food, beverage, tobacco, general, maintenance, and housekeeping items
- Conduct monthly physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
Inventory Control & Reporting:
- Record all store requisitions and ensure they are accurately posted into the inventory control system
- Monitor stock levels, report expired or soon-to-expire items, and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels
- Prepare and submit daily receiving reports and purchase orders
- Report invoices without purchase orders to the purchasing department
- Ensure security and proper handling of store inventory
Operational Efficiency & Compliance:
- Support cost control by tracking consumption across outlets, kitchens, bars, and departments
- Ensure store operations comply with internal policies and standard procedures
- Raise market lists for required store items and track undelivered purchases
- Supervise receiving and storekeeping activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards
Team Supervision & Coordination:
- Coordinate with the cost controller and purchasing team to ensure efficient stock management
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all transactions
Requirements
- Minimum SPM qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in storekeeping and receiving operations
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling and documentation
- Basic proficiency in inventory management systems
