Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Industrialization (Customer Monitored Parts CMP)
- Ensure lessons learned from previous projects and current production are integrated into new supplier industrializations.
- Collaborate with the Commodity Quality Champion (CQC) to assess and communicate industrial risks during supplier reviews.
- Ensure supplier site readiness and process maturity for new part launches.
- Deliver part approval at each project milestone in coordination with the acceptance technician.
- Post-tooling kick-off, monitor tooling and process readiness, and support product and process qualification activities (APQP).
- Guarantee the completion of required process deliverables and conduct PCPA assessments to recommend process qualification acceptance.
- Validate supplier capacity and manage process-related issues using the expert network when necessary.
- Contribute to escalation processes during the project phase and assess the impact of design or origin changes (including DEX) on supplier industrialization.
- Participate in new supplier evaluations and support sourcing prioritization decisions.
- Current Production Quality Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure ongoing compliance and performance of parts supplied from responsible sites.
- Manage QSB+ certification processes and evaluate the effectiveness of supplier action plans.
- Monitor adherence to contractual quality controls and escalate issues as needed.
- Safeguard Stellantis production by taking immediate decisions in case of quality risks.
- Lead crisis resolution and ensure closure through PDCA methodology.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team (GSC) and GPSC/SIRF for logistic crisis management.
- Perform capacity assessments when required and support part or process transfers (BTAB/PEPP).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives with supplier top management and validate ongoing product/process changes.
- Supplier Selection & Panel Management
- Provide input to CQC regarding supplier site capabilities and risk assessments.
- Define and monitor risk mitigation plans for awarded business.
- Participate in escalation commissions and propose actions such as QIP certification withdrawal, IATF special status, or formal supplier escalation.
