Supply Chain & Manufacturing Functional Lead
Production Planning: MRP (Material Requirements Planning), production orders, capacity planning, shop floor control
Process Manufacturing: Recipe management, process orders, batch classification, yield management
Materials Management: Material master, purchasing organisation, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification
Inventory Management: Goods movements, batch management, stock transfers (inter-plant, inter company), physical inventory
Quality Management: Inspection plans, quality notifications, usage decision, Halal certificate management, shelf-life management.Warehouse Management: Warehouse structure, transfer orders, storage bin management (MY plant warehouse)
Batch Management: Batch classification, batch search strategy, batch traceability (FEFO - first expiry first out)
Integration with Manufacturing Execution System (MES / SCADA / Wonderware) - interface design and governance
Vendor integration: purchase order automation, vendor evaluation, approved vendor list (Halal certified vendors)
Minimum 10 years ERP Supply Chain experience, with at least 2 full-cycle ERP Greenfield implementations in food manufacturing
Demonstrated experience in FMCG batch manufacturing with recipe/process order management
Experience supporting Halal-certified manufacturing environments is strongly preferred. Familiarity with certification frameworks such as JAKIM (Malaysia), MUIS (Singapore), or equivalent Halal regulatory processes will be considered an advantage.
MES/SCADA integration experience (Wonderware/AVEVA, or equivalent) preferred
Certification in Supply Chain in the relevant ERP platform is preferred
English language proficiency required; Bahasa Malaysia an advantage for MY plant team interactions
Demonstrated experience in APAC regulatory environments (Malaysian HACCP, MY Dept. of Veterinary Services, JP food standards)
Responsibilities:
Lead all Production Planning, Materials Management, Quality Management and Warehouse Management design workshops with the appointed SI and Arnott's Operations, Procurement and Quality teams
Define and govern the material master framework: material types, MRP parameters, procurement types, batch classification
Design the recipe and BOM structure for Arnott's M&B FMCG product portfolio, aligned to production and costing requirements
Configure MRP: planning strategy, lot sizing, safety stock, reorder point logic for all M&B SKUs
Design Halal quality management configuration: QM inspection points, Halal certificate batch linkage, usage decision workflow
Configure batch management: batch classification (FEFO), batch search strategy for production and goods issue
Define shelf-life management parameters aligned to M&B product and regulatory requirements
Design and govern the MES/SCADA integration architecture in collaboration with the appointed SI and Arnott's Operations
Design and execute Production Planning, Materials Management, Quality Management and Warehouse Management SIT and coordinate UAT with Operations, Procurement and Quality teams
Validate materials master data migration: legacy BPCS material data, open purchase orders, stock on hand
Produce Production Planning, Materials Management, Quality Management and Warehouse Management configuration documentation, MRP parameter documentation and Halal QM operating procedures
