Job Description

Candidates will be assigned to the Purchasing, Planning, Shipping, Sourcing, Program/Costing department based on educational background, skills, and working experience.

Job Responsibilities

Purchasing

  • Generate and manage purchase orders based on forecasts and customer orders.
  • Follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgements and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely system updates for purchasing transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure material availability.
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery, quality, and lead time.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and handle return shipments.

Planning


  • Plan and manage production schedules based on customer forecasts and orders.
  • Perform material planning (MRP) and coordinate with purchasing and production teams.
  • Monitor work orders and ensure timely completion.
  • Analyze forecast changes and adjust production plans accordingly.
  • Control finished goods inventory and monitor shipment readiness.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports.

Shipping


  • Prepare shipping documents including DO, Proforma Invoice, and Packing List.
  • Coordinate shipment bookings and logistics arrangements for on-time delivery.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping liners and customers.
  • Monitor shipment status and ensure timely submission of export documents.
  • Maintain shipping records and system updates.

Sourcing


  • Lead sourcing activities for assigned projects from initiation to completion.
  • Supervise RFQ processes, cost analysis, and supplier allocation activities.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.

Program/ Costing


  • Generate sales orders based on forecasts and purchase orders.
  • Prepare quotations and manage customer claims.
  • Coordinate with customers and finance team on invoicing matters.
  • Track engineering changes and tooling costs for BOM updates.
  • Support product costing, NRE cost, and commercial activities.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience is an added advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Willing to work in Senai, Johor
