Job Description

Department: Supply Chain

Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's end-to-end supply chain operations, including logistics, warehousing, and planning activities. This role ensures efficient operations, cost optimization, compliance with industry standards, and continuous improvement of supply chain performance to support the company's overall business objectives.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the logistics and warehousing teams, overseeing daily operations including planning, organizing, and directing supply chain activities.
  • Implement and manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure supply chain processes comply with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Evaluate and optimize transportation, service, and inventory costs within the company's budget and distribution strategies.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics and warehousing efficiency while reducing operational costs.
  • Establish, monitor, and regularly review supply chain KPIs to track performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Build and develop a multi-skilled workforce within the logistics team to improve overall team capability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and warehousing facilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide effective supply chain solutions that support overall business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Represent the company in customer-related events or complaint handling with management approval.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.

Qualifications :

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehousing operations.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Experience in implementing or managing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations including planning, logistics, and warehousing.
  • Familiarity with ISO / IATF audit requirements and standards.

Language

  • Good command of written and spoken English.

Travel

  • Travel may be required when necessary.
