Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Supply Chain Business Manager to lead global supply chain operations, drive delivery excellence, and implement strategic initiatives across procurement, inventory, and production planning. This role requires a strong balance of operational execution, business analysis, and stakeholder management to ensure supply chain readiness and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global supply chain initiatives to improve delivery performance, supplier operational excellence, and material availability.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and material control systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Identify process bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and deploy solutions that improve lead times, cost efficiency, and throughput.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory control, and production material planning to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.
  • Monitor and optimize supply chain processes across multiple factories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as escalation point for material shortages, delivery risks, and supplier challenges across global sites.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, manufacturing sites, and internal stakeholders to support ramp-up/down cycles and operational complexities.
  • Administer and monitor global customer inventory stocking agreements, including contractual terms, service levels, and delivery schedules.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean, JIT, Kanban, and supplier/customer-managed inventory strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex technical issues impacting delivery and production readiness.
  • Define, track, and report supply chain KPIs (lead times, cost, order fulfillment, inventory levels) to senior leadership.

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years of experience across supply chain functions including sourcing, procurement, and materials planning, with at least 6 years in managerial roles leading global teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven expertise in procurement and capacity assessment processes, with strong knowledge of medium- and long-term planning methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success operating within matrix organizations and managing complex global operations.
  • Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and high-mix/low-volume product environments.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and manage global teams across multiple sites.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, effective across cross-functional groups.
  • Advanced planning, organizational, and project management skills, with a track record of delivering results under pressure.
  • Analytical problem-solving expertise with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, Dashboards) and data visualization tools (SQL/Python, Power BI).
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail to identify opportunities, drive operational improvements, and support business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
