Join as Supply Chain Director to lead and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with global standards while driving operational excellence, inventory optimization, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with regional and global stakeholders to strengthen governance, enhance supply chain performance, and support business growth.
Working Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, inventory management, planning, and supply chain governance.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives by improving inventory accuracy, reducing aging stock, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards across supply chain operations.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain KPIs, develop improvement plans, and drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making.
- Lead supply chain planning, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement projects, including digitalization and process automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance, Production, and regional/global stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and alignment with business objectives.
- Represent the organization in global supply chain governance platforms, peer groups, and cross-site initiatives to promote best practices and operational synergies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline.
- Min 10 years of supply chain management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing or multinational environment.
- Preferred someone from steel/CNC background.
- Strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, supply chain planning, governance and operational excellence.
- Proven track in driving process improvements, digital transformation, and supply chain optimization initiatives
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization
