Supply chain executive

Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process. Your primary focus will include material planning, international logistics, localized procurement, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Chinese and English, with a deep understanding of the intricacies of the food industry supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Planning:

Develop and implement effective material planning strategies to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and establish inventory targets.

International Logistics:

Manage and optimize international logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.

Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to facilitate smooth cross-border transportation.

Localized Procurement:

Lead the procurement team in executing local sourcing strategies.

Foster relationships with local suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.

Supplier Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews.

Work closely with suppliers to address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

Multilingual Proficiency:

Utilize fluency in both Chinese and English to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders at various levels.

European Logistics and Warehouse Management:

Demonstrate a solid understanding of logistics and warehouse management within the European region.

Stay informed about regional regulations and compliance requirements.

Customs Clearance Compliance:

Ensure compliance with customs regulations and clear understanding of import/export requirements.

Collaborate with customs brokers to streamline the customs clearance process.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in supply chain management within the food industry is highly desirable.

Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain processes.
