About the Job
This role is responsible for managing customer forecasts, production planning, material planning, inventory, and shipment coordination to ensure on-time delivery and smooth order fulfilment. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, and Shipping, to meet customer requirements and maintain efficient supply chain operations.
Working Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage customer demand planning, production scheduling, and delivery commitments to ensure 100% on-time delivery and healthy inventory (DOI) levels.
- Review customer forecasts, monitor demand fluctuations, and coordinate with Production, Operations, and Sales to align production plans with customer requirements.
- Develop and monitor the Master Production Schedule (MPS), track production performance, and proactively resolve supply or production issues.
- Monitor inventory levels, aging stock, and End-of-Life (EOL) materials to minimize excess inventory and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate customer shipments by tracking purchase orders, delivery schedules, and ETD/ETA while providing timely updates to customers.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve planning, delivery, and supply-related issues.
- Prepare regular planning, inventory, and performance reports, and escalate any abnormalities or risks to management in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning, demand planning, supply chain, or customer planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in MPS planning, inventory management, and production scheduling is an advantage.
- Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
