Supply Chain Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all import activities into Malaysia and manage domestic export shipments from West to East Malaysia and Brunei, ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant operations.
• Plan and coordinate vessel schedules, delivery timelines, warehouse allocations, and shipments, including support for new store openings.
• Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of shipping documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, costing files), and resolve discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.
• Collect, interpret, and analyze logistics data, including:
• Backlog deliveries
• Fulfilment metrics
• Shipping lead times and costs
• Reliability and cost-effectiveness of third-party logistics (3PL) providers
• Monitor logistics performance and identify trends or issues impacting efficiency and cost.
• Generate and present weekly and monthly reports, providing clear insights on performance, cost management, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify operational challenges and implement timely solutions to support continuous process improvement.
• Support logistics solution development and seasonal container delivery planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and participate in mini projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of working experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export, or a related function.
• Basic understanding of import/export procedures, customs clearance, and shipping documentation is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and comfortable working with data and reports.
• Familiarity with logistics performance metrics (e.g., lead time, shipping cost, 3PL performance) is an advantage.
