As a Supply Chain intern, you will support inventory management, planning, logistics coordination, order processing, and reporting activities across the supply chain function. This role provides hands-on exposure to the operational and analytical components of a pharmaceutical supply chain.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Inventory Management:
- Update daily stock levels, tracking sheets, and ageing reports
- Assist with cycle counts and variance investigations
- Support improvement of inventory visibility tools and trackers
- Order Processing & Logistics:
- Assist with order entry and checking order accuracy
- Coordinate with warehouse/3PL partners for delivery arrangements
- Track order status, delays, and exceptions
- Maintain delivery and fulfilment records
- Supply Chain Reporting:
- Prepare weekly and monthly KPI dashboards (OTIF, stock ageing, accuracy)
- Support data validation and consolidation from multiple sources
- Provide insights on supply risks or service trends
- Process Improvement:
- Assist in updating supply chain SOPs
- Support continuous improvement projects (process mapping, waste reduction)
- Participate in cross-functional discussions with commercial and warehouse teams
Essential Requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving ability
- Comfortable learning systems, spreadsheets, and data tracking
- Able to commit to at least 10 weeks
