Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement coordination, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics distribution. This role ensures cost efficiency, service level excellence, and operational scalability to support ParagonCorp Malaysia's business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities covering planning, warehousing, logistics, and distribution
- Ensure smooth coordination between procurement, production, warehouse, and sales teams
- Monitor and improve supply chain performance against KPIs, SLAs, and service levels
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance availability, cash flow, and obsolescence risk
- Implement inventory control practices (FIFO/FEFO, cycle counting, stock accuracy)
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage local transportation and distribution partners to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery
- Optimize logistics costs through route planning, vendor negotiations, and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety, and company standards
Planning & Continuous Improvement
- Support demand forecasting and supply planning to meet sales and market requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, process optimization, or automation
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the key point of contact for 3PLs, transporters, and warehouse service providers
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and QA
- Prepare reports and insights for management on costs, inventory, and performance
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field
- 7–10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or people-leadership role
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, warehousing, and logistics operations
- Experience managing 3PLs and distribution partners
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Hands-on, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing
- Exposure to regional or multi-site operations
- Knowledge of Malaysia supply chain regulations and logistics landscape
