The impact you'll make

As a Supply Chain Factory support team, you will be key contact person within Supply Chain to ensure material readiness for manufacturing and managing factory escalations

This is high visible position where you will need to work with diffferent departments , Supply Chain team globally including directors and VPs to identify risk, provide mitigation and solution and escalate if needed. The person needs to be able to manage high pressure environment with constrant changes and experience in managing severe material constraint and escalations

What You'll Do

Job Responsibilities:

This position will have significant experience in delivering objectives and supporting Lam Manufacturing Malaysia. The role is that of an individual contributor who is a self- starter and able to operate independently of day to day supervision.

This position requires to analyze data in SAP, internal shortage tool to identify, validate and roll up material risk, supports expediting key material to meet manufacturing and customer delivery dates. The pivotal function of this job is alarming material risks in advance and escalate on time to prevent shipment risk.

He or she requires to work with internal supply chain team consists of Buyers, Commodity, Supply Business Managers and leadership to find all possible solutions to mitigate etc material allocation priority, Problem Report status change, sell back, de-kit options.

The person will act as interface to cross functional team consists of manufacturing, order fulfillment, logistics, engineering to ensure the manufacturing production and customer delivery are meet.

Factory support should be capable of scenario planning based on provided forecasted plan to share supplier healthiness and drive root cause action plan for improving internal process to prevent shipment delay. He/she also need to actively identify and engage in inside lead time material risk to identify gating parts, support pull in and alarming material change by Order BOM change or engineering change request and support material containment plan.

Other Job Responsibilites

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within tolerable risk levels.
  • Manage non-technical, supply chain projects using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.
  • Provide forecasting, planning and strategic execution support to the supply chain to meet current and future business requirements.
  • Develop and monitor risk mitigation strategies, and coordinate root cause corrective actions
  • Lead and participate in projects to resolve problems or to support continuous process improvement
  • Develop timely reports and key performance indicators to identify/monitor material delivery challenges

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field
  • More than 5 years related experience in a supply chain role
  • Fluent in English and experience in working cross functional team located in different countries.
  • Strong communicator capable of developing and delivering compelling arguments and presentations.
  • Must understand how factory operates
  • Proficient in MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate, Python with experience in building reports with large data sets
  • Experience in chairing meetings with attendees located in different countries and different level of the organization including executive level
  • Experience as escalation level/single contact person for multiple commodities material shortages

On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
