Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and business oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support our growth portfolio of manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for driving cost driver analysis, partnering closely with Operations to identify cost savings opportunities, improve operational efficiency and support optimization initiatives across the business.

The successful candidate will lead financial modelling and forecasting activities including long-term cost projections, scenario analysis and new products introductions.

This role requires strong analytical capabilities, business partnering skills and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations to support strategic decision making.

What a Supply Chain Senior Financial Analyst does at HP:

  • Manage the month-end close process for assigned business, ensuring timely, accurate and complete financial reporting.
  • Drive monthly forecasting activities, partnering with Operations to assess risks, opportunities and cost outlook.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for assigned business, including consolidation of assumptions, analysis of cost trajectory to align with business strategies and presentation of key financial drivers & recommendations.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis on monthly financial results against forecast, budget and prior periods, providing clear explanations and actionable insights.
  • Conduct cost driver analysis for the growth portfolio, identify trends, risks and opportunities across manufacturing chain.
  • Partner closely with Operations to drive cost savings, productivity improvements and optimization initiatives
  • Perform financial modelling and projections for new product introductions including cost assumptions, sensitivity analysis and profitability assessment.
  • Prepare management reports, financial presentations and insights for senior leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Manufacturing or Operations Finance.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain or operations environments preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Power Point required. Experience with SAP is an advantage.
