At Zenyum, we always look for ways to optimize our supply chain and efficiency without compromising quality or service. We are seeking a Supply Planner based in Kuala Lumpur to join our team.
The Supply Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining the production schedule, ensuring that materials are available when needed and that finished products are shipped on time. He or she will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and identifying opportunities for cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, production planning, inventory management, and procurement. He or she will also be diligent and analytical, with the ability to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
As the Supply Planner, you are instrumental in driving Zenyum Consumer Products supply chain operations to the next level of execution excellence. You will report to the Head of Supply Chain & Operations.

We are looking for an ambitious Supply Planner:
- Tracking inventory levels to ensure that optimal supply levels are maintained to meet demand
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure that they can meet delivery schedules
- Preparing forecasts of supply needs, including anticipated demand for a product based on historical data and current trends
- Coordinating with the operations team to ensure that deliveries are received and inbounded on time, along with the right documentation in place
- Place POs and collaborate with Finance on Procurement tasks to stay on track with planned orders and deliveries
- Liaise with Freight Forwarders on quotations/shipments and importation requirements/renewal to ensure on-time stock replenishment and competitive freight cost spend
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
You are fit for this role if you:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- 2-5 years experience in supply planning, inventory management, procurement, or production planning
- Are located/willing to be located in Kuala Lumpur and are fluent in English and Chinese
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and root causes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the FMCG industry is preferable but not necessary
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive continuous improvement, and weather dynamic business/operations situations in a fast-paced scale-up environment
- Clear and prompt communication/escalation with stakeholders, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate and improve business outcomes
- Understand that personal growth is a result of self-awareness and coachability and bring both to the table
